Better for children. Better for all.

Demonstrate. It's a powerful word and our primary focus.

The Learning Community of Douglas and Sarpy Counties is here to build and demonstrate proven programs that change lives.

A growing number of children and families in the Omaha metro area are struggling with poverty and its impact on learning. They urgently need new ways to succeed.

The Learning Community is one of the few metro areas taking thoughtful action to reverse decades of poor student achievement.  With the support of our school districts and community partners, we're making real progress.

We all want to see children succeed in learning and in life. Explore our demonstration sites-and learn how proven programs help our kids, our workforce and you.
